OUR MIGRANT STORY

Since the mid-1900's our families would migrate from Crystal City Texas, to work in the fields of potatoes in Delavan, Beets in Racine, cherries in Sturgeon bay Wisconsin, sugar beets in Fargo Minnesota, cherries in Michigan, Cabbage, beets in Toledo Ohio & sugar beetsGrand Forks North Dakota. They would return back to Texas to harvest watermelons, oranges, grapefruits, onions & spinach. During the breaks, they would eat tacos of filled with varies meats and vegetables topped with salsas.

It was this sharing of a meal that I was inspired by.

So we dedicate migrants to honor those who work hard every day whether they are in fields, hospitals, first responders, grocery stores, or offices we want to thank you and share a meal!
